There are 3 different types of effective video promotions you should be incorporating in your advanced affiliate marketing: live action, screen capture and software-generated video. In today's TV and sound-bites culture, video is one of the most powerful tools in your affiliate marketing arsenal.

The first type, live action video, is the most common - you simply stand in front of a video camera and deliver your pitch. This can range from a laid-back introduction to yourself and your products to the hard-sell super-pitches made famous by the late Billy Mays. You'll also find video interviews with one or more experts work well when done correctly.

The second type, screen-capture videos, usually fall into 1 of 2 categories - either showing a 'virtual tour' of a site or the operation of a piece of software, or the recording of a webcast or webinar. These are especially valuable for the affiliate marketing of software programs to show ease of use or the power of a new program, the extensive range of benefits to a new membership site, or to bring the content of an informative webcast to a much larger audience than might have attended live when the event was first broadcast. In the latter case, just be sure that any special offers mentioned in the video recording remain available, and that your affiliate marketing link remains onscreen at the end long enough for people to be able to copy it down.

The final type, software-generated videos, can also be divided into two most common types - text based and image based. The former is often an extension of affiliate article marketing, and is created by taking an audio version of your article and either having the entire text appear onscreen as it is read, or having just the main points written onscreen as each paragraph is read. The latter is created like a slideshow, with a succession of graphics or photos appearing along with a voiceover, music, a text overlay or any combination of the three.

With video editing software evolving quickly and prices dropping almost as fast, video has come within reach of almost every affiliate marketing business. As a result, the only restrictions on using affiliate marketing videos has become your own imagination and the amount of effort you're willing to put in to achieve your affiliate marketing success online. Start making money online using affiliate marketing videos now!
If you've been pursuing affiliate marketing for some time, without a doubt you should at least have subscribed to at least twenty email newsletters. That is enough to keep your busy for the whole day, leaving little or no time to work on your business. How should you approach an opportunity so you get real work done?

Having been a subscribers to 23 e-newsletters, the last time I counted, I certainly know how it feels. You wouldn't call it a day without getting bombarded with at least 15 offers per day. I didn't count how many banner ads you see and other types of promotion, just offers you see in your email inbox. Imagine that.

From newest traffic strategies, search engine loopholes, pay per click tricks, you name it. Not to mention about a new money making opportunity. If you switch your email notification on, you get nothing done at the end of the day, wondering where your time really goes.

I know this because I was there and experienced it. I switched to my email application as soon as it chimed, thinking that I would be missing things if I didn't handle it quickly or faster than anyone else.

That's the worst way to approach an opportunity, but most people think that by knowing they stay on top above everything and survive. While you may be the most knowledgeable internet marketers on the block, that has no correlation whatsoever with the amount of income you generate.

This fact stroke me like a lighting bolt in the middle of the day, but it's true.

Now, don't get me wrong. I do recommend that you pursue different strategies to see which one could leverage your strength best. One that you really enjoy doing and would be natural to you.

Once you have identified it - not necessarily the perfect technique - it is all about action. Most successful affiliate marketers I know are busy doing work that aligns with their long term strategy, sometimes they don't check email for days.

They often refuse to check the next opportunity because they know although the grass may seem greener over there, you don't own it. Even if you own it, soon you will get used to your lawn. If you try to stay on the edge, that's exactly what you do; get to know everything. Only by doing that you will grow your business and income.

What can you do with this information to move your affiliate business forward?
Affiliate marketing is on the top three of most lists on how to earn and make money online and for good reasons. First, you are dealing with actual products and services unlike other online money-making techniques where you don't exactly know if you are promoting something or not. Second, you can choose which affiliate product to promote. This is very important most especially if you are using your own website or blog to promote the products. And third, it does not take too much of your time. For instance, if you have a fairly popular blog, all you really have to do is place your affiliate links and affiliate banner ads on it and you are good to go.

To those uninitiated to the business of affiliate marketing, here is how it works in the simplest of terms. If you have any experience of selling company products in the offline world where you get a commission for every sale you make, it's pretty much the same in the internet. There are several aspects though to online affiliate marketing that aren't available in its offline counterpart. One obvious difference is in the marketing department. In offline sales, you have nearly zero marketing options. But online, you have hundred of platforms where you can promote what you are selling. These platforms include blogs, stand alone websites, social media sites and a whole lot more. Affiliate marketing is about selling as many affiliate products as possible and earning commissions from those sales.

One of the advantages of affiliate marketing over other ways on making money online is that you have the choice if you are going to use a website or not. Some affiliate marketers don't use a website while others exclusively uses a website as their main tool. But if you are just starting out, it is best that you set up a blog or a website. It will serve as your business headquarters of sort. You see, the marketers who aren't using websites to promote products are very experienced online marketers. They are using programs and softwares that they created or bought from other marketers. You need more experience before you can effectively get involved on these things.

Once you have your blog or website up and you have written and posted enough content on it, then you can start promoting your affiliate products on it. There are literally hundreds of affiliate companies out there that you can join. All you have to do is choose which is most appropriate to the theme and topics of your site or blog. You can follow some or all of the following ways of promoting an affiliate products on a blog or website.

1) Place affiliate links in your content. You need basic HTML skills to be able to accomplish this. It's simply creating anchor links. If for instance there's text in an article in your blog that says "computer software", you can use that text as anchor text for a computer software product on say You will have to make sure though that your affiliate ID is integrated in the link.

2) Display affiliate banner ads. This is often very easy to do. It's merely copying some code and pasting it on your site.

3) Write a review about an affiliate product or service.

Affiliate marketing is a very good way to make money online as long as you play your cards right and promote your products to the right people and at the right time.
This article covers fundamental and basic HTML techniques for creating a modern and upscale website. HTML ing process involves converting each slice in your layout into HTML code. Most web formatting is done at this stage. It is a good idea to keep the contents and formatting separate by using CSS file containing all fonts, color attributes defined. The web 2.0 standards and guidelines should be kept in mind while doing the HTML. Doing HTML is a technical task and isn't that simple as it sounds. Doing the right HTML needs lot of practice and updated skills. Few aspects of HTML design practices are covered below.

Keep it light:
It is important to keep the Web Design or HTML light. This does not mean you sacrifice on quality. It demands doing things right. Your website will finally be loaded on a browser which means the load time is all the way important for you. There are few tips that will make your web design light. First and foremost, your HTML should use less of embedded tables. Use of div based or css layouts is prevalent today and the designer should try to do designs using lighter HTML tags like div. Avoid using unwanted comments or unused HTML sections in your design. Next, every image in your design should be light. The image size can be reduced by removing unwanted and hidden layers in image. Anything and everything you can do to reduce the HTML coding for your web design will give you a better load time.

Name it right:
It is not a requirement but a good practice to assign relevant names to your design elements. Web Design & HTML is a derivative of a programming practice which needs good naming conventions to be followed. Avoid using names like image1 OR img1 and instead give significant names like your-product-name OR your-service-name in your website designs. Naming applies to all HTML code and not just image naming. Naming it well will also help make a place for your website in search engine one day. Of course, enhancing and maintaining a design with good nomenclature is quiet easy.

Organize it well:
Make sure all HTML components in your Web Designing process are organized in proper hierarchy. e.g all images should go in images folder and all css files should go in css folder and likewise. It will not be a nightmare for you to maintain and update your website if everything is well organized.

Optimize it:
Optimizing your well designed website means taking care of few SEO (Search engine optimization) guidelines. This involves not over using and repeating same text, using an alt tag for image, stuffing meta tags on the HTML page etc. This is a separate and big area for discussion in itself. Anything you can do to make your design search engine friendly will go a long way. Oh yes, do not forget to validate your HTML code on w3schools.

Ready to go:
If most of above steps are carefully done, you are ready to launch your web design.
All you need to do is find a good web host and upload the HTML code.
We finally have an impressive HTML & Great! Web design at the end of day.
By learning HTML basics, you can publish content online with link anchor text and embedded images, audio or video with simple code.

If you are an affiliate marketer, having basic HTML skills will allow you to make minor to moderate changes to the code as you publish content to promote a product. Learning how to do update HTML is not very difficult at all.

HTML tags are very easy to understand because they are logical and there is much documentation available both online and offline. If you know how to use a software tool like Microsoft Word, you can learn the basics of HTML, it is really that simple.

As far as resources, you have many cheap and easy references including a wide variety of HTML tutorial websites. With these help sites, HTML is fully explained and demonstrated so that you can learn all of the skills and techniques need to design a website. It is entirely reasonable for somebody with no experience to learn enough HTML to build a web page in a single day.

Video tutorials are also helpful in learning HTML. It is very obvious that video tutorials are instrumental in helping students to learn basic HTML. A picture is worth a thousand words, but a video is worth a volume of words. With video training you will actually see what steps are required to design a HTML web page leading to website design.

Like most things in life, building a website is a process that can be learned, just as you learned to walk and talk. If you are going to eventually design a website, you will of course need a domain name and web hosting.

One thing to consider is domain name availability. You will have to visit domain registrars and use their search box to check the availability of your target domain name. It is always best that the domain name you purchase is descriptive of the actual website site that you are developing.

Next you will need to acquire a web host to publish your website online. Once you learn how to publish a website online, creating more will not only be easier but also very addictive.

So before you publish your website, a domain name and website hosting is required.

Rest assured that you can learn to write HTML code. One last tip you should consider is a web development editor. There are many available. Some are free, but the more feature packed website editors cost a small amount. You can also use Windows Notepad for writing HTML code. Using a simple text editor like Notepad is probably the best solution because some of the HTML editors add extra tags and other information that may confuse you and complicate your HTML code.
Every month tens of thousands of people invest their hard-earned money to join a network marketing company with the hope of earning a few extra dollars working part-time from the comfort of home. By the end of their third month in business, 70% or more pull the plug and quit; often in worse financial shape than when they started.

It's a tragic, but true story. But it doesn't have to be that way. Because the difference between enjoying incredible success or suffering a crippling failure is often due to nothing more than using a simple network marketing system designed to do most, if not all, of the heavy lifting for you and your team.

Tools Are Not a Network Marketing System

One of the most common (and costly) mistakes many new business owners make is in thinking TOOLS comprise a good network marketing system. Yet nothing could be further from the truth. A good network marketing system may take advantage of any number of tools, but a tool... in and of itself... is often completely worthless apart from a fully integrated, fully functional "series of processes" designed to a consistent and measurable result.

For example, your company may provide you with a wonderful DVD presentation guaranteed to generate interest in your product, service or opportunity. Yet this DVD is truly just a tool and absolutely worthless without a system (a series of processes) designed to get the DVD in the hands and DVD players of potential prospects who might be interested in learning more.

A live MLM webinar event hosted by the top income earner in your company is a great sponsoring and closing tool. Yet it will not produce one iota of a result unless you have a system in place to announce the webinar to new prospects, provide a way of registration, and provide you with a copy of their contact information for purposes of follow up.

Complete Network Marketing System Example

A system is a series of processes designed to produce a specific result. A good network marketing system, then, might be a complete A-Z process for lead generation using organic search engine methods consisting of these steps:

Use specific market analysis tools to select a target market with an expressed need for your products, services or opportunity. (E.g., "stay at home moms")
Use search engine keyword research tools to determine the exact words, phrases and idioms used by the selected niche when in the market for your type of product, service or opportunity. (E.g., "part-time internet jobs")
Use tools to measure how many web pages, blog posts, articles or ads are competing for the desired search terms and select the least competitive, best-chance results.
Write or outsource the writing of an information problem/solution article.
Manually submit article to article directory and/or use tools to distribute article to any number of article directories.
Promote article by pinging url, social bookmarking and securing backlinks.

Notice the complete "network marketing system" is a series of processes designed to produce a specific result. In this case, to get a new web page to rank high on the search engines for keywords used by your target market. This will result in a flood of highly targeted traffic to your web site... where you might have yet another series of proven processes designed to catch the interest of your new potential prospect and compel them to opt-in to receive more information.
There are so many people that would like to work from home these days - the corporate rat race just gets worse, and with the enormous amount of people looking for work, you may be feeling a little insecure - scared you will be replaced by someone who will work for half of what you are being paid!

All those people looking for jobs are really becoming a danger. So many corporations are getting rid of loyal and experienced employees, only to replace them with people who are willing to do the job for much less than you are being paid! These companies do not deserve loyalty at all; all they care about is their bottom line!

Home network marketing is something you can start today while you still have your other job, you can build it up with the aim of making enough money for you put aside for emergencies, and to eventually replace your salary if you do get ousted.

Many people have started home network marketing business and are doing very well with it, problem is, so many people fail because they either don't put enough effort into it, they choose a bad system to follow that doesn't work for them, or they treat their business more like a hobby, to be attended to only when they feel like it.

But you're not like that are you? You have been working 50 hours a week for The Man so long; you know you couldn't go through a day without doing something. With your own home network marketing business your loyalty would be to you and your family and your customers and down-line and nobody else. You would be calling the shots, and you can imagine that.

No more sitting in traffic, having to skip lunch and working late. No more spending money on business attire. No more going days without seeing your children and your wife. Oh and did I mention the vacations? Take your laptop along on as many vacations as you like, do a little work every day and live the good life with your wife and family.

Can you picture that life in your mind's eye? Great! Do you already have a background in sales or a customer oriented job? That's even better!

There are a lot of things to do if you want to set up a home network marketing business. You could spend weeks poking around on the internet looking for ideas and how to set up your business but end up feeling frustrated and ready to throw in the towel before you start! You can easily waste a lot of money too.

Here's the key to success in the "work from home network marketing" arena - find someone who is already producing the result you hope to produce, team up with them, find out specifically what they are doing and have been doing to produce that result... and simply do the same things. Seriously. Building a profitable business can really be just that easy - regardless of the business you want to promote.
Sales and marketing is the key - not what you are promoting. There are many online systems you can use to generate a steady stream of leads, qualify those leads automatically, produce a nice stream of income regardless if they join your business or not,

Getting the best brand name is difficult and the competition will not step down either. Therefore, you need to know how to keep your customers coming in through your door. The moment you figure these things out, you will instantly know what to do to keep them coming. Look at their weakness as your business' strength. Their attention might have been attracted by the mass e-mails you posted advertising your new products.

Depending on what you advertise, your business will definitely need a different kind of customer support. And local marketing online will play an important role in defining your services and the people who come to you. You will also find special customers that you need to impress.

You have to remember how difficult it is to please customers looking for bargains. These customers are not very specific with the quality so you have to look at different ways to impress and convince them. However, one thing is truly captivating, every customer reacts to different advertisements differently. Local online business marketing needs to focus on these points. They need to cover a very huge majority of people from all angles and points of view.

The possibilities are extremely huge. However, you should know the difference between what is right and wrong. When you see your business continuously growing this means you have done the right things for your very own online marketing project. You just need to continue doing these right things and remember that one wrong move might pull you down.

SEO- Search Engine Optimization means exactly that, optimizing your site so that it can be found by the search engines. There are a few terms that you need to know so you can start talking nerd with all the other people doing a web site. The first word term is "keyword". This means a phrase of words or one single word that describe what someone might search. Example would be "clothes" or for a phrase "kids clothes." You can have longer terms and like "kids clothes boys." This would be called a long-tail keyword. Now instead of a long key word phrase some people use what is called a qualifier. This would be a keyword added with a location. So you might be looking for "drill-press" but you want to find it in Dallas, Texas. So you might have a keyword with "drill-press Dallas TX." "Dallas" is not a keyword but a location qualifier in this case. The only time it wouldn't be a qualifier would be when it is part of the name ex "Dallas Cowboys."

Now what does that have to do with your site? Well you need to have keywords through out your site for what you want the search engines to fin you for. If I have a site that sells widgets then I need to make sure that it talks about widgets. Now I don't need to bombard my site with widget written 1000 times but the most common theme needs to be about widgets. So your site needs content to be relevant. If the content is their you can't be indexed by the search engines because they will not know what you are about. They don't have a program at Google or Yahoo! that reads pictures or someone sitting at a desk looking at your site to see what you are as a business. All that can be read are words. So make your words stick out.

Once the face of your site shows what you are about you need to edit the back end of your site. If you open your site and right click on your mouse there is an option to "view source". A crazy page pulls up and looks like it is written in a another language. Well it is. It is written for the web browsers to understand what your site is about and also is a quick reference for the search engines in indexing your site. If you don't see things that say meta keywords, meta title, and meta description then you are missing some very vital parts to having your site indexed by the search engines. This is a little more complicated and needs to be done by a web designer or if you are using a template then you need to find the location to input in these items.

Now you know a little about keywords and where they need to be placed. This is a small step in optimizing your site. There are many other things that need to be done like alt tags, the connecting of pictures to keywords, back-links, and URL structure to name a few.
There are hundreds of ways to make money on the internet, and each one of them has worked somehow for somebody, somewhere. Which ones work best around the world, and which one would work the best for you? Those are the ones I've seen working nice and smooth the most even with some inexperienced friends of mine:

1) Affiliate Marketing

This is a widely used way of making money. It means somebody else makes a product and you market it and sell it. Then you get a commission. If the product is an information product, also called digital product, usually the commission is pretty high.

Also, since you're only marketing a product, you don't have to deal with any technical stuff concerning the product, from payment processing to problem-solving.

It's a very good way to start, but it requires a wide research of ways to doing it. It's good to take a good course and practice a lot to have success.

2) Service Marketing

In this case you're just using the internet to market one or more services you provide yourself. Even though you can reach the world through the Internet, you'll most likely do better starting up targeting your own neighborhood, your town, and then expand your reach.

After some time of successful service marketing, you might very well be closing deals automatically online and using a team to help you with distant customers.

3) Owning an E-Store

A very wide method, and that's why it's so great. You can start up a online store to sell stuff you have in stock, to sell products you promote as an affiliate marketer, and even to sell your services. And the possibilities are great. You can automate just about everything in your store and get potential customers to many areas you're engaged in.

4) Advertising

It consists in having a really nice informational and/or fun website which attracts all kinds of visitors that will want to spend a lot of time getting information/having fun in it.

Google AdSense or other advertising network will send your website ads in areas you've preset, and every time somebody clicks on one of them you earn some cents. If you have a lot of visitors, the clicks will be constant and you will get a good income.

You can also show statistics about your website to potential advertisers so they consider paying a specific value every month for you to always display their ads.

For that to work you should have constantly updated interesting content and even extra resources besides content.

5) Donations

Make a website that provides a great service to its visitors. Something that they will know you worked hard to make available and they know they wouldn't find it anywhere else, or at least would have a hard time looking. State you're doing it because you're a nice guy and want to help, and them casually ask for donations to be of incentive for your to keep up with your good work.

If your service is really good and it's evident that was hard work, many people will be happy to donate.
