Every month tens of thousands of people invest their hard-earned money to join a network marketing company with the hope of earning a few extra dollars working part-time from the comfort of home. For example, your company may provide you with a wonderful DVD presentation guaranteed to generate interest in your product, service or opportunity. Yet this DVD is truly just a tool and absolutely worthless without a system (a series of processes) designed to get the DVD in the hands and DVD players of potential prospects who might be interested in learning more.

A live MLM webinar event hosted by the top income earner in your company is a great sponsoring and closing tool. Yet it will not produce one iota of a result unless you have a system in place to announce the webinar to new prospects, provide a way of registration, and provide you with a copy of their contact information for purposes of follow up.

Complete Network Marketing System Example

A system is a series of processes designed to produce a specific result. A good network marketing system, then, might be a complete A-Z process for lead generation using organic search engine methods consisting of these steps:

Use specific market analysis tools to select a target market with an expressed need for your products, services or opportunity. (E.g., "stay at home moms")
Use search engine keyword research tools to determine the exact words, phrases and idioms used by the selected niche when in the market for your type of product, service or opportunity. (E.g., "part-time internet jobs")
Use tools to measure how many web pages, blog posts, articles or ads are competing for the desired search terms and select the least competitive, best-chance results.
Write or outsource the writing of an information problem/solution article.
Manually submit article to article directory and/or use tools to distribute article to any number of article directories.
Promote article by pinging url, social bookmarking and securing backlinks.

Notice the complete "network marketing system" is a series of processes designed to produce a specific result. In this case, to get a new web page to rank high on the search engines for keywords used by your target market. This will result in a flood of highly targeted traffic to your web site... where you might have yet another series of proven processes designed to catch the interest of your new potential prospect and compel them to opt-in to receive more information.
